Devlog 3 || Comedic Bugs


Its been a while since a Blood and Burgers devlog has been posted, so why not give you a new inside scoop from the Blood and Burgers dev team. 


Blood and Burgers has come quite a way from its first day of development; and it still has a long ways of development to go. Our team has run into bugs in the game and its functionality ever since day one. And let's just say... some of the bugs are quite funny. Here is a list of bugs we have run into while developing Blood and Burgers!


  • Fairy Bob (he became really tiny, levitating in the air)
  • Wide Bob (he became really wide)
  • Gliding Bob (he would glide everywhere he went, instead of walking)
  • Vanishing Bob (he would turn invisible if he came in contact with the player)
  • Jesus Mode (upon reaching the end of the map, you would non stop ascend upwards for no reason)
  • Blind and Confused (the player's camera rotated opposite of the way the moved their mouse, the map was also pitch black)
  • Dizzy and Queasy Bob (he would randomly spin in circles, and run into walls)
  • Moonwalking Bob (his walking animation would play backwards)
  • Infinite Stabs (Bob's jump scare animation would play on repeat)
  • Cheater, Cheater (Bob would no-clip through walls to reach the player)
  • 3, 2, 1, BLAST OFF!  (Bob would randomly be shot up into the stratosphere)
  • Watch for traffic! (Bob became a shape similar to a traffic cone)
  • You're a wizard, Harry! (Bob's knife would levitate next to him)
  • Roles Reversed (Bob ran away from the player)
  • Who needs the Laws of Physics anyways? (Bob would randomly teleport around the map)
  • I'm just big-boned! (Bob became 10x his regular size upon import into the game)
  • Super-sonic (Bob would randomly accelerate, then decelerate)
  • Staring Contest (Bob would randomly T-POSE, and just stare at the player)
  • See,  he can do tricks too! (Bob would start doing flips if he got too close to the player)
  • Anyone up for bowling? (Bob became a ball)
  • Have a seat (the player could pick up and carry around the booths and bar stools in the dining area)
  • I've got places to be! (any and all objects with gravity would glide across the floor to one certain wall, and get stuck to it)   funny thing is, we still have slight issues with this bug... It's being fixed though.


These are just the most comedic of bugs that we have ran into during development. There have been plenty others we have ran into, and plenty more we will most likely run into in the future.
